ISSF Shooting
In a nutshell what is ISSF shooting?
Well it is the art of taking 1 precision shot at a distance of 25m with a single arm (that is holding the pistol in one hand only). The purpose is to score the maximum possbile points per shot.
The major difference of ISSF is that everything is done to emphasise the individual shooter and to minimise any technical or other advantages one person might have over another. Everything being equal and constant, the only variable is the shooter- and that person's skill, talent, motivation and determination.
At HPC our Match Director is Terry Anderson and he runs events every Sunday from 1300hrs. Come along and give it a go.
